Every life worth fighting for! That’s the moto of Offspring and what compels them in their mission.
Around the world people are bought, sold and abused. Human Trafficking is the fastest growing criminal enterprise in the world today. It is the fastest means by which people are enslaved and there’s not one country that isn’t affected by it in some way.
Offspring wants you to know about it, empower you to stand against it and help restore the lives of those who have been hurt by it.
They work with young women who have been released from the bondage of human trafficking. Providing a safe, nurturing home where survivors can feel valued and encouraged. Rehabilitation is a journey through education, vocational training and emotional support.

The ‘P-family’* are part of a missions movement working in the Middle East, where they have been based since 2017. Their heart is very much for the entire region, from the Holy Land to the surrounding Arab States and beyond. They consider it a privilege to share the gospel and reach into remote communities.
Their goal is to make local disciples who make disciples of others and to see a move of God take place across the Middle East. Their heart is for the lost, the widow, the orphan, the struggling family, the poor, the broken and those who desperately need Jesus to touch their lives. They aim to do this in places where there is no church, no witness and no “light”.
Kardinia Community Services partners with the ‘P-family’* providing funding support for their work in the Middle East.

Schools engage chaplains to support the educational, social and emotional wellbeing of students. They work closely with wellbeing and allied health staff in schools to support students and their educational outcomes, staff, families and the wider school community. Chaplains work as a member of the school’s wellbeing team in the delivery of student wellbeing services. They contribute to improving student engagement and connectedness, providing a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment, provide pastoral care and guidance to students and operate within the school community and with external providers.
Kardinia Community Services provides administrative support and oversight for Chaplains in five local schools. They are Bannockburn P-12 College, Leopold Primary, Newtown Primary, Rollins Primary and Lara Primary school. Kardinia Community Services also partners with Kardinia Church to create the annual Chaplaincy Christmas Concerts which are attended by more than 2000 students from schools in the local community.

Christmas Box is a food box delivered to local families in need at Christmas time. Each box caters for a family of 4 – 6, helping supplement meals for more than a week. There are also some Christmas treats for all the family.
Packing Day is an exciting collaborative event where teams of volunteers from Kardinia Church come together to pack and assemble boxes. Our volunteer army have been excited to be part of this positive initiative for those less fortunate in our community.
This is what one of the recipient families had to say – “This is some good news! Every phone call I've been getting is bad news. This means so much. It's such a hard time of year. It is so kind of you. Thank-you so much!"
Kardinia Community Services partners with Christmas Box to supply and distribute boxes across all Kardinia Church campuses to families in need in our local communities, schools and charity organisations.Back
Groundforce is a project of Kardinia Community Services initiated through Kardinia Church. It is a large scale, one day, landscaping makeover of a local school or community organisation. Since 2005, this annual event enlists more than 200 volunteers from Kardinia Church who come together to make a significant contribution to the community in a practical, hands-on way of service.
Schools and Community organisations are often faced with tight budgets and changing priorities which means they don’t always have the resources to keep up with outdoor maintenance or revitalisation of playgrounds and landscaping. That’s where Groundforce becomes a vital connection between church and community. Using the people power of the local church, along with generous donations of materials, equipment and services from local businesses, Groundforce has helped a long list of schools and community organisations to upgrade and rejuvenate their outdoor spaces.
Joining with the hundreds of Groundforce volunteers from Kardinia Church for each project are parents, students and teachers from the schools and leaders and participants from various community organisations. Working together creates community partnerships, connection and restores pride when outdoor areas are transformed into beautiful spaces that are able to be enjoyed and utilised every day.Back
We understand there are many people in our community who may face unforeseen circumstances from time to time. Whether that is the loss of employment, bereavement, ill health or other circumstances that lead to difficult times. That is where our Community Care program will provide practical support to individuals and families through food and prepared meal relief, grocery items or supermarket vouchers to ensure basic needs are met and care is extended.
Kardinia Community Services provides resources for the supply and distribution of the Community Care meal relief program. We are thankful to have a base of volunteers from Kardinia Church who will donate grocery items, deliver meals and show love and care to those in need.Back

The Universities program has a presence at O-week activities, campus gatherings and works closely with residential students with the goal to make every interaction a positive one. The Red Frogs teams are on campus fortnightly with the goal to build relationships and provide support to young people.
The Schoolies program provides immediate relief, safety and support to young people during Schoolies week celebrations. The Red Frogs teams are based at different locations along the Surf Coast and Lorne and provide an invaluable service to young people and the local community.
