Community Care is a project of Kardinia Mission that recognizes our community may need a little extra care from time to time!
Unforeseen circumstances can affect anyone at any time, whether that is ill health, unemployment, the risk of homelessness, bereavement or any other sudden and difficult time.
Community Care is a prepared meals program. Fresh frozen home cooked meals are delivered to families and individuals in need or facing crisis. This practical help through food and prepared meals support extends love and care to our community. Community Care can also assist in other ways to ensure basic needs are met or help is provided when it is needed most.
Kardinia Mission provides funding for the supply and distribution of Community Care Meals and other supports. We are thankful to have a base of volunteers from Kardinia Church who donate their time to prepare, cook, deliver meals and show love and care to those in need.
