New in 2024 the Resident Missionary project will enlarge the mission expression of Kardinia Church. Creating unique opportunities for our church, in all locations, to become more aware of and engage in cross-cultural ministry, whether that is locally in our multi-cultural society or in the global context.
Kardinia Mission has enlisted Pastor Richard Brohier to this role, who has been involved with local and global missions across Australia and numerous Asian countries for more than 50 years. This includes teaching, training and mentoring of pastors, church planters, church leadership teams and NGO leaders, conducting workshops and training. He will also walk beside individuals keen to explore the world of cross-cultural ministry, providing lived experience.
Pastor Richard continues to work with churches and leaders in Sri Lanka, his birth country, and since the year 2000 Pastor Richard has been involved with Asian Access (now known as A3) with a particular interest in Bangladesh, and more recently is pursuing invitations to conduct leadership training in East Timor.
Kardinia Mission will partner with Pastor Richard as he serves in this role as Resident Missionary.
