    WHAT WE BELIEVE

    JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, who died for the sins of the world. A relationship with Him is essential for salvation. As followers of Jesus, we’re committing to live as fully devoted disciples, following His example and the way He outlines in Scripture.
    (1 John 4:14–16; Acts 4:12; Romans 7:14–25; Philippians 3:9–12)

    CENTRALITY OF THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the Word of God, truth from God Himself. It’s the foundation for knowing Him and living a life that honours Him. As a church family, we commit to reading it, understanding it, and applying it to our lives as we grow in faith.
    (2 Timothy 3:16; Psalm 119:105; Psalm 119:9–10)

    SPIRITUAL GROWTH
We’re learning to live in a way that reflects Jesus choosing a Christ-like lifestyle, showing love, compassion, and obedience to God’s Word. We encourage and challenge one another to grow, and we explore next steps like Baptism and living in unity as believers.
    (1 Peter 2:1–3; Ephesians 5:1–2; Galatians 6:1–5; Colossians 3:12–14; Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:1–11; Acts 2:41; Acts 8:12)

    THE CHURCH BODY
A vibrant, healthy church is made up of people who are active in community and committed to the mission. As people who call Kardinia home, we choose to:
1 - Prioritise gathering for worship and church-wide events (
    Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:46)
2 - Serve in ways that help others and strengthen the church (
    Galatians 5:13–14; Romans 12:4–8)
3 - Grow in connection and discipleship through Home Groups (
    2 Peter 3:17–18)
4 - Support the church financially and grow in generosity through tithes and offerings (
    1 Corinthians 16:1–3; Malachi 3:8–12; 2 Corinthians 9:6–8)

    OUR MISSION
    Love Builds the House

Love is our motive — it is our response to the love of Jesus. At Kardinia, love is the welcome, the warmth, and the reason we keep coming back. It's seen, felt, and shared.
    (John 13:34–35)
    Relationship Strengthens the Home
The church is not just an organisation but a family, a home. We grow in faith, friendship, and purpose when we grow together.
    (1 Corinthians 12:26–27)
    Mission Extends the Walls
We don’t just go to church — we are the Church, on mission wherever life happens. We want to impact the world and people around us, just as Jesus did.
    (Acts 1:8)

    BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP
The Bible teaches that we grow in relationship with one another: encouraging, challenging, comforting, and forgiving. In our church, leaders and believers walk together with honesty and accountability. We restore the struggling, pursue those who’ve strayed, and seek peace in conflict. This is what family does.
    (Matthew 18:15–17; Galatians 6:1–5; Colossians 3:12–14)

LIVING LIKE JESUS IN EVERY SPHERE OF LIFE
We want to live lives that reflect our faith — not just on Sundays, but every day. As we grow in how we love, work, and relate to others, we show the world what Jesus is doing in us. That opens the door to share the gospel and offer hope in Him
    (Romans 12:9–18)
